*Have been Dr Eisenberg's patient since I was a teenager and through Medical School and now after receiving Lasix. Its been almost 1 month since my Lasix surgery. Vision is Awesome. As an ER doc it is wonderful to not wear glasses or contact lenses any more. My spouse also received Lasix and is very, very Happy.

Thanks to Dr Eisenberg for his continued advice and medical care throughout all these years and for many years to come.

*I am delighted to write this review regarding Dr. Richard Eisenberg and his staff.  Dr. Eisenberg has taken exceptional care of my wife and me for nearly 18 years.
I recognize that providing personal information about my medical history may not be diligent on my part, however, I feel in this review it is appropriate because Dr. Eisenberg and his associate performed LASIK corrective surgery on both my eyes in December 2003.  I am still realizing the wonderful results of my surgery nearly 10 years later.
Prior to the surgery, I wore corrective lenses due to an astigmatism since I was 6 years old.  I had the surgery at the age of 52 and just recently I had my annual exam, and again, I was amazed that I still have 20/20 vision.

Dr. Eisenberg has consistently demonstrated the very best in eye care for my family.  Dr. Eisenberg constantly stays abreast of the newest medical technology, techniques and treatment, has a great personality, and is completely focused on his patients.
This is my very first review of a professional business on any social media, so I am pleased to be able to highly recommend Dr. Richard Eisenberg to the general public..

*I have been a patient of Dr. Eisenberg for many years as I find him to be caring, gentle, and concerned about the welfare of his patients.  In this day and age of hurry up and rushing, it is comforting to  find a medical practitioner who takes the time with you and makes you feel that you are his highest priority.  Thanks to Dr. Eisenberg, my eye problems are now solved.  I would rate him 10 stars!

*Dr. Eisenberg and his staff are the best.  For over 20 years, our entire family has been seen by Dr. Eisenberg.  His gentle touch and kindness relaxes even the youngest patients.  He's very patient and really takes his time to explain things to you.  His approach is knowledge based and truly cares about your eyes and your overall well being and how other health issues affect your sight.  He's a FIVE star in our book.

*Dr. Richard Eisenberg is a fabulous doctor.  He has a very kind and caring manner.  He always makes a spot for an emergency which many doctors don't.  His office staff is extremely nice and I rarely have to wait to see him.  I definitely give him five stars.

Dr. Eisenberg raises the bar of professionalism, friendliness, accuracy, courtesy, and availability to answer questions, to a new high level in the optometry profession.  My family has gone to him for years and I cannot imagine anyone not wanting to be lucky enough to have him for their optometry needs. I endorse him with an 11 on a scale of 1-10)

*Dr. Eisenberg took very good care of my two kids and took the time to give them a top-notch eye exam. He used all the latest eye testing gadgets and also has a great "bedside manner."

*I've been a patient of Dr. Eisenberg for 7+ years and during that time I've been able to observe him in a variety of circumstances. Not only do I consider him an excellent diagnostician, but his recommendations and diligent  follow up have always resolved problems correctly and left me with the impression that he is a caring and sensitive individual. He's professional in every way, very knowledgeable and has a wonderful ability to put people at ease with his warm and engaging personality. I am a senior citizen and based on my life experiences there is no one I've encountered who has more to offer in this field than Dr. Eisenberg. I have no doubt you will like him personally and respect him professionally

*I've been a patient of Dr. Eisenberg for almost 14 years.  In that time, I have tried other, local optometrists.  Nobody comes close.  Seriously.  Dr. Eisenberg is a fantastic doctor and very attuned to other medical knowledge and circumstances, which he takes into consideration when dealing with your specific case.  He knows his stuff... period.  Excellent bedside manners, genuinely cares, LOTS of experience, very close relationships with the top ophthalmologists (who speak highly of Dr. Eisenberg... many frown on the typical Optometrist), etc. Go see for yourself, you'll be thoroughly impressed!

*I've been a patient of Dr. Eisenberg's for more than 10 years (before I had children).  He's thorough, and quick.  He's great with my kids.  He's very patient and really takes his time to explain things to them.  They aren't afraid to go to see him.  I recommend him for adults as well as children.

*Woodland Hills is hardly an oasis of cool so I was surprised to find lots of unique, interesting glasses here. I dropped in while visiting my parents who live in the area and could not leave without buying a gorgeous pair of silver and white Fendis. The woman who helped me had great taste and was an amazing judge of what would look right on me. I spent more on glasses than I ever have but it was so worth it. 2 years later, I still LOVE my glasses (I'm usually sick of my glasses within months) and I get complimented on them almost every day. Yay.

*I have been wearing glasses since I was 16 months old, and I'm 63 now so that's a long time. Dr Eisenberg is simply the best Optometrist I have ever been too. If he ever retires I will have a hard time finding someone as good as he is. I would recommend Dr. Eisenberg to anyone wanting or needing to get their eyes checked or Laser vision,

Dear Dr. Eisenberg,

Changing eye doctors after 35 years is not easy.  Or so I thought, until I met you and your office staff.  My appointment today exceeded my expectations.  Warm, compassionate care is not always easy to find, so I’m happy to have found it in your practice.  I will be sending you my husband after the first of the year, and will gladly refer others to you as well.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks again,

Terry P.

I've been a patient of Dr. Eisenberg's since 2005.  He is the BEST eye doctor I have ever had.  Highly recommend!  Great bedside manner.  Very kind and caring.  He always takes his time with each patient.  He doesn't make you feel rushed or anything, which is important to me at least.

My eyesight had leveled out over the years and he had recommended that I was great candidate for LASIK.  I was very hesitant at first, but after a few years I finally decided to go for it this past January.  Dr. Eisenberg provided me with a TON of materials regarding LASIK. and he answered all my questions.  Dr. Eisenberg works with Dr. Alan Berg (who actually does the LASIK procedure).  I cannot say enough great things about both doctors.

I had my LASIK done on 1/23/15 and I LOVE IT!  Best decision I have ever made.  Definitely go with Dr. Richard Eisenberg and Dr. Berg.  I have to admit that I was nervous about getting LASIK done prior to my first visit at the LASIK center for my free consultation.  I had several questions, was worried about the cost, and of course, what my vision would be like after the procedure.  Could it really be that great?

Prior to getting LASIK I wore glasses/contacts since the 3rd grade.  My vision prescription before LASIK was 5.75 in each eye.  I couldn't even read the big "E" on the chart (even though I knew it was there) and I can now see 20/15!!  The staff was EXCELLENT.  When I went for my consultation, they did a bunch of measurements on my eyes and then I met with Dr. Alan Berg.  Dr. Berg was very kind, gentle, and nice.  He answered all my questions.

On the day of my LASIK I arrived and the staff got me settled in.  I had a few more measurements done on my eyes and then I was taken into one of the little rooms where they measured my eyes again (you know the whole...is 1 better or 2, 2 better or 3...)  Then, I was given a Valium and a Motrin.  They came back and got me about 15 minutes later and took me to the LASIK room.  My husband got to sit right outside the room and watch the whole thing.  I was told to lay down and close my eyes.  As I laid there I heard the staff talking and then a few minutes later, Dr. Berg came into the room.  He put numbing drops in my eyes and then it started.  He did my right eye and then my left.  Having my eye held open by the clamp was seriously not a big deal at all. That was the part I had been worried about.  The whole procedure didn't hurt.  I only felt pressure here and there.  I looked a blinking red light the entire time and listened to Dr. Berg tell me I was doing great about a hundred times. :-)  BUT...I really appreciated the support and his continual talking me through the procedure.  I think it was over in about 17 minutes total.

When I got up I could already see, but it was a tad blurry.  My husband escorted me to the car and then home where I took another valium and then off to bed for 6 hours.  I slept straight through.  When I awoke I came out in the living room and the tv was on. I could see the little ESPN ticker at the bottom with no problem!  I stayed up for a few more hours, had dinner, and went back to bed and slept for another 10 hours.  I figured the more sleep the better for healing, so why not?!

The next morning I woke up and went to Dr. Eisenberg for my appointment.  You have follow-up appointments 1 day, 1 week, 3 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and then a year after your LASIK and yes, it's covered in the overall cost of your LASIK.  I read the 20/20 line with NO PROBLEM!  The following week I went in again to Dr. Eisenberg's office and could still read the 20/20 line and most of the 20/15 line!

You are given special drops to use for the first 7 days and you have to sleep with plastic clear eye shields so you don't rub your eyes in your sleep for the first 7 days, but after that I was good!  I did use the moisturizing drops they gave me for another week, a few times a day, but I haven't used them since!  My eyes feel fantastic!!

As of today (7/31/15), I just went for my 6 month check up and everything is still fantastic.  I have NO problems and can see perfectly.  Seriously, it was a life changer.

I seriously HIGHLY recommend Dr. Eisenberg for your eye doctor.  And I highly recommend getting LASIK done if you're a good candidate.  Dr. Eisenberg and Dr. Berg are the best and their staff is awesome.

I love being able to roll over and see the clock next to the bed at night...to be able to get up in the middle of the night and see my way out of the bedroom...to be able to wear sunglasses outside...to be able to work out and not be constantly pushing my glasses up on my face.  Best decision I ever made.

I'm so incredibly happy and I'm so incredibly grateful to Dr. Richard Eisenberg for helping completely changing my life for the better!
